‘Gotham’ episode 12 video: The quest to stop Jack Gruber

“Gotham” fans, rejoice! After a week off of the air, the drama returns to Fox on Monday night, and with an episode that will almost certainly put Jim Gordon through the wringer. There is some pretty good proof of how and why that is coming about in the new video below.

What Gordon is up against here is one of his most dangerous foes yet in Jack Gruber, who you could also call the Electrocutioner. He has already put quite a few of the residents of Arkham Asylum through terrible and deadly paces, and now, the man is loose on the city itself. Gordon may not be the favorite child of the GCPD at the moment, but they may need his knowledge of Gruber to be able to track him down and get him back into Arkham Asylum.

Just one random thought here: Doesn’t anyone else thing that Gruber looks a heck of a lot like Hugo Strange? Is there anyone better for this role than Christopher Heyerdahl? We feel like we know the answer to that question. The “Hell on Wheels” star is perfect in this role. He’s terrifying, and also holds a great deal of power.

As for what else to expect from this episode, we’d just say to be on the lookout for Gordon to grow closer to Dr. Leslie Thompkins. Morena Baccarin is going to be around this series for a long time, and may even be a series regular if the show is renewed for another season.
