ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: Darby Stanchfield hints at huge surprise

Fans of “Scandal,” we would tell you to be blown away by the following bit of news, but we assume that since you watch this show, you are probably perpetually prepared for something like that anyway.

With that in mind, let us go ahead and share what is one of the more interesting teases on the show we’ve had as of late. Typically with this show, they don’t give you any real clues to something crazy coming up; yet, they are doing so now. Maybe this is a clue to re-watch old episodes, or maybe this twist is just so exciting that nobody wants to keep it inside. Regardless, we feel like you are probably going to love it. The source of much of this hype comes from star Darby Stanchfield (Abby), who had the following to say in a recent interview with TVLine:

“There is the most freakin’ hugest surprise that happens in the next four episodes that the original Gladiators [who have been watching since season 1] are going to freak out over. The only clue I can give you is that the fans of the first season are going to lose their minds.”

While we don’t have any particular information on what this twist may be, we must admit that almost immediately, there is a certain idea that cropped up in our brain when we heard “season 1.” Just in case we’re wrong, we won’t mention it … also because we don’t want to jinx it.

The other part of this that will be interesting is seeing how many fans actually will know what this twist is, since it was really not until season 2 that this show started to become a massive hit around the world.
