‘Scorpion’ episode 13 preview: Ralph faces trouble in ‘Kill Screen’
Before we say a whole lot else when it comes to Monday night’s new episode of “Scorpion,” can we start by saying that we love the title? “Kill Screen” is the sort of geek reference we can totally get behind, especially to fans of old-school games who wondered what happened when you actually made it to the very end, and there was nothing more for you to do beyond just stare at a screen.
However, in the world of this show, be very aware that someone in Ralph could end up accidentally getting into some trouble due to his gaming habits … which are purely accidental, of sorts. Take a look right now at the short synopsis below:
“Team Scorpion must help Ralph when the FBI questions him after his dark web game play inadvertently reveals the location of a CIA safe house and results in the murder of CIA operatives.”
On paper, this reads to us like the most interesting episode of the show, and is something that we really want to see them do more of: Give us some of that geek culture that we’ve been looking for, but at the same time, try to also inject a little bit of that crime procedural element that you like to have.
Hopefully, this will be a nice way for the show to further stabilize itself as we get deeper and deeper into the season. It had its fair share of strong moments in the first dozen episodes, but there were also struggles that it will need to battle through.
What do you want to see on “Scorpion” Monday? Now is a good time to tell us in the comments!
