‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Are Katie Cassidy, cast done filming for the holidays?

If you have been following the production of “Arrow” season 3, then you know that they have been working on some cool stuff. The Black Canary saga is about to truly start escalating, we will likely find out more about Oliver’s whereabouts, and there are some major surprises in tow.

For the time being, though, everyone is getting ready to take a very deep breath, and prepare for a lengthy break. As Katie Cassidy herself notes, the Christmas break for the cast is upon us! While everyone had different wrap times, many of them are all traveling to various parts of the world in order to enjoy their holiday season. It’s a real shot to get away and do something different for a change, and fore most of them, this must be nice after some very long days filming.

Of course, there is not much rest for a TV star. These same people are going to be coming back to Vancouver early next year to begin work once again on the second part of season 3, and there are still nine more episodes still to film this year. Within this time, we hope to see another Oliver – Ra’s al Ghul showdown, the Canary really start to meet her potential, and a few things that will blow away even the most diehard comic fan.

“Arrow” season 3 returns with new episodes on Wednesday, January 21, and for at least the first one, expect Team Arrow to take more of the spotlight than usual with Oliver out of the picture for a while.
