Are you ready for “Fargo” season 2 to come on the air? We understand if you are, given that there have not been many programs over the past few years that have been anywhere near as effective at combining drama, action, comedy, and great characters.
Well, we do come now bearing great news in the form of a script page, which gives us just a little bit more insight into how showrunner Noah Hawley and the rest of the team plan to proceed forward with the show. This comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, and one of the biggest takeaways that we have from this is mostly that it gives us a better sense of who Peggy and Ed, played by Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons on the show, are going to be.
The main action for this new season is going to be taking place in 1979, and it will be focusing primarily on a case that was briefly mentioned back when the show was first on the air. What is the case here? Think of it this way; it will be violent, shocking, and it throws a small town into an upheaval due to the actions of a mob.
Expect a show this time that is even more rural than the first season, but at the same time, equally cold and isolated. Given that production for this show takes place in Alberta, you are really getting one of the more isolated and difficult sets out there.
