‘Elementary’ season 3, episode 9 preview: Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu return in 2015

ElementaryLove “Elementary“? We understand that, but also be prepared to be waiting for a little while to see just what the future holds for the show moving forward.

After tonight’s new episode, you will be waiting a few weeks to see the next move for Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu, and the rest of the cast. Specifically, be prepared to wait until Thursday, January 8. That is when “The Eternity Injection” airs. May we add for a minute here that “The Eternity Injection” may be one of our favorite titles for this show to date? So mysterious.

If you have not seen it already, the official synopsis below gives you a little tease of just what you can expect from this story:

“When Watson (Lucy Liu) joins forces with Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Kitty (Ophelia Lovibond) to locate a missing nurse she used to work with, the woman’s trail leads them to another person who has recently disappeared.”

Basically, this is a story that takes us a little bit deeper into Watson’s past, which is something that we will always sign off on. With this being said, we sign off on it a million times more so when it revolves around Sherlock and Watson doing something to dig into her past. These two character remain the heart of the show, and seeing them continue to challenge each other is part of the fun.

Hopefully, we are going to follow this up with something a little more geared towards Sherlock following this. What’s wrong with a little hope?
