‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 spoilers: What recurring character is returning?

While “Hart of Dixie” does have a nice family of regulars, one of the reasons that this tiny Alabama town has such flavor is the roster of recurring players we see from time to town. They keep things fun, exciting, and also makes things that much more complicated.

With all of this in mind, we do come today bearing some good news: We’re going to see more of Tansy this year, as well! According to TVLine, George’s ex (played by Mircea Monroe) is going to return starting in the sixth episode of the season, but don’t expect there to be a romantic reunion between the two. As creator Leila Gerstein notes to the site, she will be back in a more friendly capacity:

“I don’t feel like there’s still a hope for Tansy and George … She’s back in a completely platonic capacity, but for a really important storyline. She’ll also get her own version of happiness this year.”

With this news in mind, does this mean that Scott Porter’s character is destined to be with Lemon? Not necessarily. While he may be interested in getting her back in his life romantically on this coming season, there is some competition out there for her heart. Specifically, we are looking here towards Lavon, who is also currently on the market. Maybe one of them ends up winning her over before the season ends, but that means the other one has to find another way to look towards their future.
