‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ episode 13 preview: Will Missy’s injury pull her from the game?
After tonight’s episode of “Survivor: San Juan del Sur,” we thought that all of the focus moving forward was going to be on Natalie. However, that may not be turning out to be the case.
Instead, you can really look towards Missy now for a completely different reason: An injury that could require her to be pulled from the game. She injures herself during a challenge, and then medical comes over with a series of questions.
Now, the question you have to wonder here is if this is some sort of super-dramatic fakeout. It would not be the first time that the show has teased an injury that was not as terrible as it first looked; it doesn’t sound like medical is forcing her to leave the game, either, so she may opt to stay and keep fighting. If she does, that is a heck of an argument about resiliency if she can make it all the way to the final tribal council.
With this being said, it does seem as though Natalie is still going to be doing just about everything she can to take down Jon, and is even recruiting Keith and Baylor still to lend a helping hand with it. The problem that she runs into here is, ironically, Baylor’s mother. She has to find a way to convince Missy that this is the time to make this move if they want to ensure that they win in the end.
One final thought for tonight: Could Keith actually win this game? It seems crazy given his utter lack of strategy, but he has worked hard around camp and is an immunity threat.

Natalie’s so much more interesting now, on “Survivor,” than she ever was on “The Amazing Race.” She gained appeal by losing the company of her sister.
Concerning Missy… As much as I’d love to see her leave early, I doubt that her injury will be serious or game-ending. If that were the case, would the producers have given us such an obvious teaser?

Why didn’t they vote out Jaclyn last tribal? I’m rooting for Keith or Natalie (although I did not like her on Amazing Race)

Go Keith or Natalie.
Would anyone want to pick between the J couple at the finale? I wouldn’t bother watching.

I think you meant to say “…and is even recruiting (Baylor)…” not Keith since MIssy is Baylor’s mom and not Keith’s. I don’t think she’ll leave. It’s another fake-out preview which I never take seriously anymore.
