‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Coulson prepares to stop Whitehall

You’ve likely been feeling the pain that comes with no new episode of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” this week, and we certainly understand that. How about a new sneak peek from the episode airing on Tuesday to help tide you over?

If you look below (via AOL), then you should get a very interesting idea right now as to what we are getting ready to face. Coulson and company realize now the location of the ancient city, but there are still some other complications: Trying to figure out how to beat Hydra to the punch, and stop Whitehall for the time being and then some.

Think of this sneak peek as the calm before the storm, and at the same time also a great opportunity to see a little bit more of Bobbi Morse in the process. After wondering at first if she was going to be around for just an episode or two, the woman otherwise known as Mockingbird has proven to be a tremendous part of this show most of the past several episodes. Could a series-regular promotion be coming? We certainly hope so.

Regardless of what happens with Bobbi, these final two episodes of the year for this show are going to be action-packed, and are hopefully going to put a pin on this story. Without coming across as insulting to this particular storyline, since it has been fairly strong, we would like to see the show move forward to taking on some other challenges. After all, there are so many other things that we could envision the SHIELD team doing.
