‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: More casting news on Darren Criss’ Blaine

Over the course of “Glee,” we have gotten a few opportunities to meet some various members of the characters’ families, but there have always been a few little holes here and there that are still waiting to be filled.

Anyway, we are here today to work on one of those. Per a new report coming in now from TVLine, the show is getting very set to introduce the character of mom to Darren Criss’ crooner, who works as a makeup salesman and has a pretty hilarious name: Pam Anderson. Given that Blaine’s brother (played by Matt Bomer) had the name of Cooper Anderson, this seems to be the family of cheeky references. Everyone other than Blaine himself has one.

This role is going to be in the eighth episode of the 13 set to air on Fox, and is being cast right now. That should give you a pretty good indication of just how far the show presently is in, and how close we are to the big finale. We would assume that given that January 9 premiere date, the show should have its series finale filmed at some point in early February, mostly so that there will be enough in the way of turnaround to get it on the air in time.

As for Blaine’s relationship status on the show, all we know at the moment is that Max Adler is returning to the series, and rumor is that he may be a love interest to the character in the early going. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens here.
