‘Sherlock’ season 4 spoilers: BBC drops first look at Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman
How is this for a Tuesday surprise?
Given that the first part of “Sherlock” season 4 has not even began filming yet on the BBC, we assumed that it was going to be a long, long time before we had anything at all to take a gander at. As it turns out, this is not entirely the case! BBC One tweeted out the photo HERE, and made it rather clear that the beloved Sherlock Holmes and John Watson are getting set to be back on the case. Not only that, but Watson is back with the mustache. Maybe this is Watson’s way of getting into the Movember spirit?
Basically, we are much too early in production right now for there to be a whole lot else to say about the new season just yet, save for maybe that we hope it is every bit as awesome as the photo suggests that it could be. This is mostly just a chance for the folks over at the BBC to really remind us that this is a story that intend on pursuing, and you are going to get a chance to watch it on the BBC … eventually. There’s really not a whole lot else still to say other than the rumors that this will be a devastating season for at least one of the characters.
The first part of the season, which could air as a Christmas Special, will film early next year. We would presume that the remainder of the episodes will also be filmed at some point in 2015, as well.
