‘Gotham’ fall finale spoilers: The Penguin, Falcone face off

Monday night’s fall finale of “Gotham” is going to have its fair share of dramatic moments, and none will be more dramatic than watching the showdown between Falcone and Oswald Cobblepot.

In the sneak peek video below, you can see Robin Lord Taylor’s character basically doing everything that he can in order to try and get himself safe from the wrath of the infamous gangster. Falcone knows that there is a mole in the ranks, and to go along with that, he does not have a whole lot of interest in being patient. There are many reasons still to suspect the Penguin of wrongdoing here, with the principal one being mostly that we’ve seen him do some traitorous things in the past. It’s possible that he could be swinging things around again, or working with Fish Mooney.

Regardless of what happens within this episode, we expect to see a great story that keeps us on the edge of our seat. As for if we are going to see the Penguin defeated, it’s possible, but not to the point of death. While there are no guarantees that this Penguin becomes the Penguin we know from the Batman comics, he is for sure going to be around a while longer. We don’t have confirmation on that, but do we really need to spell out how important the guy is to the story any more than we have?
