ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Emily Thorne, David Clarke’s past in winter finale

While there may not be a new episode of “Revenge” season 4 coming on the air for this Sunday, how about some scoop to help tide you over a little bit?

Today, we are specifically talking about the show’s upcoming winter finale, which airs on December 7, and how there could be some pretty enormous surprises that are in store for us … especially in terms of David Clarke! TVLine reports that within this hour, Emily Thorne / Amanda Clarke / Any Other Name will find out some details regarding her father’s captor, and to say it’s a “game-changer” would be underselling it. This should end up being very interesting and then some.

Could this eventually tie into the character that Tommy Flanagan of “Sons of Anarchy” is playing? It is probably a little too early to say that, but we are very curious about it already.

At the moment, what we really know is that the show will return with new episodes starting in late January, where it will have to prove itself for a few weeks without “Once Upon a Time” as a lead-in. While we do love this show very much, we’re concerned about its future due to some lower ratings. Also, it may not have the syndication crutch to rely on anymore.
