‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5, episode 8 preview: New video featuring Carol Burnett!

Do you love Carol Burnett? Given that you hear the word “legend” often bandied about when it comes to her, it’s hard not to.

Well, we can tell you now that the show-business icon will be turning up again as Aunt Deb on the new episode of “Hawaii Five-0” Friday night, and she will be bringing with her some revelations: She’s in love! Her new man is played by another legend in Frankie Valli, and it is fairly clear from the beginning that McGarrett has a few doubts about his intentions. That is why he went and did a little bit of research on who this guy was.

However, the sneak-peek video below unleashes another surprise on the Deb character: She already knows everything that there is to know about him. He is not hiding anything from her, and instead, the only thing that was really going on here was that she and him were collectively keeping information from McGarrett. Isn’t this a little sad? Maybe, but she didn’t want him to start to doubt him immediately. She claims that despite his flaws, she is happy, and wants Steve to feel the same way.

Then, the name Catherine is invoked, and the sneak-peek video ends with us thinking that this conversation may not end well. We do hope that there is something more with this character given her sudden departure from the show after last season, but who knows where this story is going to go? We just want Steve to be happy in the end.
