‘Madam Secretary’ episode 10 preview: First look at ‘Collateral Damage’

As we get closer and closer to the end of “Madam Secretary” season 1, one thing can be almost guaranteed: Things are only going to be getting so much more intense for Elizabeth and many other characters within this world of the State Department.

For a prime example of this, just know that next week’s all-new episode entitled “Collateral Damage” is going to be one that features some of the same sort of difficult situations that happen in real-life politics from time to time, especially when this is the sort of business that tends to attract all sorts of people with an intense desire to want to kill you.

There is of course also much more in this episode happening beyond just this, and you can see a little bit more in the way of details right now via our official synopsis from CBS:

“When the State Department goes on lockdown due to a deranged gunman outside the building, Elizabeth is confined with a delegation from Iraq whose translator threatens to reveal damaging information about her actions while in the CIA. Meanwhile, when Matt is stuck in an office with Daisy’s fiancé, Win, he spills information that he shouldn’t have.”

More than anything else, what we expect from this episode is chaos, but also an attempt from Elizabeth to establish control.

There’s also one other fun aspect of this episode, at least in that Tim Daly’s son Sam is actually going to be playing the part of Daisy’s fiance. Doesn’t this make for a great time seeing some father / son stuff on TV?
