‘Glee’ season 6: Matthew Morrison on bond with Chord Overstreet, Lea Michele
While “Glee” may not be done filming yet, this is around the time when most of the cast starts to sit back and reflect on the journey. This is probably true even more so for people like Matthew Morrison, who were among the first cast and have been around since the early days.
Morrison is already moving on in some ways, thanks to a gig in “Finding Neverland” on Broadway. However, he also still has no problem talking about a show that made him into a mainstream star. Speaking to People Magazine, the actor explained that he has grown close to some other actors on the show:
“I’ve gotten really close with Chord [Overstreet] … And Lea [Michele] and I have known each other forever. I’ve experienced some friendships that I will always have.”
One of the real bonding moments for the cast unfortunately came through tragedy, as the death of Cory Monteith was one of hardest things that every cast member had to go through. Even though he is gone, Finn is still going to be a big part of the show in some way, and we are sure that he will be discussed in some way throughout the upcoming season.
Now, we are merely awaiting a premiere date. We stand by our belief that the new “Glee” season will begin at some point in January, but Fox could delay it depending on how they want the rest of the schedule to stack up.
Stay tuned, as we will have some further “Glee” stories to report on as the news starts to come out.
