‘How to Get Away with Murder’ winter finale spoilers: More on ‘who killed Sam’ mystery
When you have a show that is titled “How to Get Away with Murder,” it makes sense that you would have quite a few mysteries on this very subject … and that they would be huge forces in some of the final episodes of the fall.
In next week’s winter finale, we can at least promise one thing: Everything surrounding the death of Sam will be revealed. Not only that, but you can figure out more of the how and why that goes along with it, which has been teased the vast majority of the season. Speaking to TVLine, executive producer Peter Nowalk made all of this very clear:
“Yeah, and you’ll find out even more. Well, we’ll see all of Murder Night and even some of the next day.”
What Nowalk would not confirm is if the Lila Stangard case would be completely solved or not in the finale, though we would assume that we would get a little more information about whether or not Sam actually killed her. There could be a larger conspiracy here, since someone had to kill Sam, and the timing here (given his status at the moment as the likely murder) cannot be a coincidence.
Granted, they are not going to have just that much time left to tie together some of these loose ends. After all, there are only six episodes in the second half of the season, and that is not a tremendous amount of time to tie some of those loose ends together.
