ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 7 video: Stana Katic’s Beckett faces an angry Lanie

While there are many things to like about the Castle – Beckett wedding, there was one thing that stood out as a pretty enormous omission at the time of the ceremony on “Castle” last Monday: The fact that none of the friends were there. We’re talking of course about Esposito, Ryan, an Lanie, who have all been there for Rick and Kate through thick and thin over the years. Given that they are practically family, we would have much preferred to see them there.

Well, it’s pretty clear that Lanie would have preferred this, as well. The sneak-peek video below comes courtesy of an appearance Tamala Jones made recently on “The Real,” and it features her telling Stana Katic’s character about how hard she worked to stay in shape and be the proper Maid of Honor. Now that she doesn’t get to wear the dress and be at the ceremony, she demands some sort of favor as a result. (Honestly, we cannot completely blame her here.)

For those of you who are trying to make something out of Lanie pushing Castle away, don’t. It’s pretty clear that this was just another little part of the playful relationship that the two parties have with each other.

This scene most likely occurs before we get to the rest of the episode, which revolves around Beckett and Castle going undercover as newlyweds (that part should be easy) at a dude ranch.
