‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11 spoilers: Sarah Drew teases more for April, Jackson

Are you loving the April / Jackson characters on “Grey’s Anatomy“? If you find yourself answering this question with a “yes,” then the rest of the season should make you pretty happy.

While she and her new husband did not have a whole lot to do before last week’s episode and the arrival of April’s mom, that is going to change and then some. Drew tells E! News in a new interview that there is so much excitement that comes from them in this new phase of their lives; personally, we’re hoping that they adopt the “couple who is not always on the brink of divorce” role. We see enough people in constant squabbling already:

“I’m so excited for fans to see April and Jackson’s relationship develop more … We’ve seen them as best friends, we’ve seen them as lovers, we’ve seen them fall in love and now we get to see them settling into their lives as a married couple and all the craziness that comes with preparing for baby. I’m so excited to jump into their marriage in a way that we haven’t gotten to yet.”

Of course, we do expect them to have a few fights. Every couple does, and we would admittedly start to be extremely concerned in the event that they did not have a few moment here and there were some ugly things took place. Still, they love each other, and are committed to their baby. That’s the most important news for them.
