‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: When should Chris Soules’ cast be released?

The bad news for “Bachelor” fans is that following that creep-tastic first promo of Chris Soules talking to corn, we’ve still got a while to wait until the new season premieres come Monday, January 5.

The good news? Hopefully, the official cast will be released at some point well before that. The timing of the reveal is something that tends to vary drastically depending on the season. Two years ago, Sean Lowe’s entire cast was unveiled will before the start of November, and we wonder if this was ABC’s way of trying to beat everyone else to the punch. The unfortunate thing is that it’s almost impossible to keep some spoilers from leaking now, and the best thing we can do is try to keep this site free of that sort of stuff. (We’re much into teasers, and something that actually gives you a little bit to look forward to.)

However, it was not until December last year when we got to meet Juan Pablo Galavis’ contestants (otherwise known as the unfortunate ones), and that is when we feel like Chris’ cast will also be released. Given that we’re already in the November sweeps, there’s no real merit to ABC releasing the cast until after the Thanksgiving holiday. They don’t want to compete for headlines against many other shows that are having big networks; with the lack of breaking TV news in December, they can have some time all to themselves.

What we are going to have for you come the time of the reveal is the same thing we did last year, which is a series of individual spotlights on most of the women in the cast, and maybe we will throw some predictions in there, as well.
