ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2, episode 7 preview: Elaine’s brother gets the virus
There have not been many moments for the Ray character to have a whole lot to do on “Resurrection” season 2, but that is going to change in part courtesy of what we have in the sneak-peek video below.
Namely, this character becomes the first known case of a non-Returned having the same virus that all of the Returned have, which definitely changes the game in Arcadia. For one, they have to figure out now a way in which to cure him, and it is not clear that any of the same sort of medication is going to work.
Also, there is another substantial issue present here, at least in that it is hard to know for sure whether or not other non-Returned are also going to pick this up. What we could be eventually leading to here is the same sort of panic, and another situation where the non-Returned try to round up those who have, and stick them in some sort of quarantine. We’re just spit-balling here when it comes to ideas, but we could see this as something that takes place.
The one thing we really think that “Resurrection” should be focusing on right now is really finding a way to tie together all of their storylines, and soon. This show only has a 13-episode season, and with the ratings low in spite of the great “Once Upon a Time” lead-in, there is a great incentive to just wrap up the story so that ABC can then move on. Its odds of coming back for a third go-around are pretty slim at this point.
