‘The X Factor’ UK: Stereo Kicks deal with ‘idiot imposter’ on stage

Stereo Kicks -Why does this sort of thing continue to happen on British television? We’ve seen random incidents involving eggs on “Britain’s Got Talent,” and tonight on the “X Factor,” we saw Stereo Kicks deal with something that was more than a little bit unfortunate.

What exactly happened? Well, it was a case of a guy running up on the stage, and deciding that he wanted to be a part of the group singing “You Are Not Alone” by Michael Jackson. It briefly became a nine-piece band, before someone finally managed to get the guy off of the stage.

The biggest credit that we can give the boys is that they stayed completely focused on what they were doing, even if this is completely embarrassing to the entire security team on the show. We don’t know how this sort of nonsense just continues to happen week in and week out.

The irony here is that this is the sort of stunt that could actually help the group a little more in the long run. After all, this is the sort of thing that will get the group a whole lot more attention than they were getting previously, and sometimes, a little bit of bad publicity is better than no publicity at all. Given that the boys were in the bottom two last week, they really need just about as much help as they possible can.

The best part of the entire incident? Hearing Simon Cowell turn this into a joke about how Louis Walsh at one point considered cutting down the group.
