‘The Amazing Race 25’ episode 8 preview: The trip to Malta … in two weeks
Tonight’s “Amazing Race” episode was all sorts of fun, given that we had a great setting, some fun challenges, and ultimately, a pretty exciting finish marred slightly by it being a non-elimination leg.
So where are we going to see this season go from here? Well, you’re going to be waiting for two weeks to see what happens next. For some reason, CBS is going to be airing something called the Hollywood Film Awards next week, which is going to take over the next schedule and keep the race off of the air.
Here is what we do know at the moment. The next leg is going to stay in the Mediterranean, but to the nation of Malta. We’re somewhat worried about the lack of real travel beyond a small part of the world this season, but we cannot be that upset when most of the legs are as well-designed as they have been so good.
One of the major obstacles in here is going to strictly be Tim & Te Jay struggling to complete all of the tasks and also a Speed Bump. They came in last, but the good news is that they don’t have too much to be discouraged about. They didn’t make any enormous mistakes on the last leg, save for just picking the wrong Detour and being just a little too slow.
The race is probably going to get more intense from here on out. The best teams right now are probably Misti & Jam and Kym & Alli, but anything can still happen.
