‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ episode 6 preview: The Sarah Paulson mystery and more

What is coming up next for Bette and Dot? At the end of Wednesday night’s “American Horror Story: Freak Show” episode, we saw Elsa Mars do something that is entirely predictable for her: Rather than deal with the conjoined twins potentially taking her spotlight, she decides to ship them off to live with Dandy and his mother.

Basically, this is the worst place ever for them to be, given that this is a man who has discovered now that he really likes to kill people. First, it was his housekeeper; then, it was Matt Bomer (we’re at least assuming he’s dead now). Could Sarah Paulson’s two characters be next? In the promo below, he at least tells his mom that he’s not going to do anything unseemly to them. Maybe he feels that spiritual connection to them that he tried to explain to Jimmy a little earlier on this season, when he found himself quickly rejected from the freak show.

The real question with this character is when he will strike next … but there are also still other questions that need to be asked. For example, what will happen to Elsa? Not everyone at the freak show buys the sudden disappearance of the show, and Ethel even has some very strong words for her. Remember here that this is a woman who is probably going to die soon, and therefore really does not have anything to lose telling someone off.
