‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6 spoilers: Chris O’Donnell teases Callen love interest

Are you going to see a love interest coming for Callen on “NCIS: Los Angeles” this season? It appears that the answer to this question is “eventually.” However, this is also something that you should not expect to be turning up in a matter of episodes.

Series star Chris O’Donnell recently spoke to TV Guide about the story that is coming up for him, and he teased that this mystery woman will be not only a great opportunity for his future, but will also further inform us about some of his past:

“What I do know about it is the woman is related to someone that has a connection to Callen’s past, someone that we’ve seen before in episodes … It’ll be fun to explore that part of Callen. He’s such a private guy and kind of a simple guy. … That personal relationship side of him we haven’t really explored that much.”

Personally, we are really just hoping that love is in the air for a variety of the character son the upcoming season, and that means much more than just Callen. We’re also hoping that this could be the season where we finally get some substantial movement for Kensi and Deeks; we know that we talk about it frequently, but maybe this is one of those sort of things where we just talk about it frequently, and then we ultimately manage to will it to happen. Anything it takes at this point to get the two parties together.
