‘Blue Bloods’ season 5, episode 7 preview: Frank struggles after an interview

Friday night marks another new episode of “Blue Bloods” on CBS, but it also at the same time marks one of the more difficult situations that we’ve seen Frank find himself in.

Given the amount of rigorous training and years of experience that he has, you would think that he would be ready for almost any given situation … with the emphasis there on the word “almost.” As brilliant as he may be, he still can struggle sometimes with the media, and being caught off-guard with a question that puts his foot in his mouth.

In the sneak peek below from Friday’s new “Shoot the Messenger,” you can see Frank lashing out over the embarrassing situation, and how he feels like he should have really been in the know over almost everything that was going to go down. The problem here is simply one that it is impossible to ever truly predict what sort of information is going to be thrown at you in these sort of situations.

One of the biggest nuggets of information for CBS News fans should be that Norah O’Donnell is going to guest-star within this episode, which should be fun just from the standpoint of seeing how she chooses to tackle a fictional version of herself. Isn’t there always a little bit of entertainment that can come from that sort of thing?
