‘Hawaii Five-0’ 100th episode spoilers: McGarrett and an alternate universe

If you are not a fan of many of those shows that choose to air “what if?” episodes chronicling how things could be different if different events played out, then you may find Friday’s 100th episode of “Hawaii Five-0” to be a little bit of a bummer.

However, everyone else may find quite a bit to like here. This is going to be a huge episode when it comes to Wo Fat, McGarrett, and everything that is happening in the present … but also a sideways universe where McGarrett’s father was apparently still alive, and where he did not have nearly the same sort of connections that he has to the rest of the team.

In the new video sneak peek below, you can get just a small sense of what we are talking about right away, and we like to think that it sets the stage very well for what could be a very crazy, original episode of the show. We really cannot imagine anything quite like this airing again in the near future, and we especially like the trippy white lighting of wherever McGarrett is being help up.

In the end, we are mostly happy that we can describe our feelings about this upcoming story with just one simple word: Excited. After all, it is not that often that we have that opportunity, and often many of the shows on “Hawaii Five-0” tend to blend together.
