‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: Jensen Ackles’ Dean and … Bobby’s cell phone?

Bloodlines -This is typically around the spot when we start to have a few more details on the next new episode of “Supernatural,” but with the 200th episode “Fan Fiction” not airing on The CW until November 11, there is not much of a rush for the network to get out sneak peeks right now.

Instead, we do at least have some of the first details on the episode that is immediately following this one, which carries with it the title of “Ask Jeeves.” The synopsis below gives you a few interesting details, including that an old friend in Bobby will at least be name-checked during the hour:

“Dean (Jensen Ackles) is surprised when he checks Bobby’s cell phone and hears a message that says Bobby or his next of kin have been named as a beneficiary in an heiress’ will. Hoping that means extra money, Dean talks Sam (Jared Padalecki) into hitting the road to claim their fortune. However, what they encounter at the house is far from a treasure chest.”

Admittedly, there is a massive part of us that is feverishly hoping that this could mean an appearance is in the works for Jim Beaver in this episode, but there really is not any firm evidence of that at all. There’s also a concern about bringing to many other characters back from the dead, since you do eventually run the risk of the audience thinking that a character dying is really not that important anymore. In the end, you do at least want to create the impression that the end of a role means something.

For the record, though, we’d be shocked if Bobby is also not mentioned during “Fan Fiction,” along with some other beloved faces (Castiel, Chuck, Kevin, etc.) that we’ve met over the years.
