ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4: Christa B. Allen lands another role on ‘Baby Daddy’

Are we done seeing Charlotte on “Revenge” for a long time moving forward? On Sunday night’s new episode of the ABC show, we saw the character make the big decision to go treatment in order to deal with her drug abuse / drinking, and to also get away from Victoria.

With this in mind, it seems like we’ll have at least a few episodes minus Christa B. Allen, and while we wait for a possible return, the actress has found some other work. According to TVLine, Allen will be recurring on the ABC Family series “Baby Daddy” in the role of Robyn, a co-worker of Riley’s who ends up being set up by her on a date with Danny. There may be some tension that eventually works its way into here as a result.

We’re glad for Allen that she is getting to play a role that is a little more comedic. In the process, hopefully she’s not going to have to deal with her character being perpetually depressed or on the verge of dying.

As for when Charlotte will return, who knows? She’s not dead, so this always leaves the door open. Our guess is that she’ll resurface at a time that is extremely inopportune for everyone, and hopefully will be a much stronger person after receiving a good deal of professional help from people who can legitimately advise her.
