‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 debate: The ideal romantic ending for Zoe, Wade

What's next? -We have done a few debate pieces over the years when it comes to “Hart of Dixie,” and in many of them we have asked the same exact question: What should happen to Zoe and Wade at the end of the series?

So for this particular article, we are going to take a different look at the issue, and ask a question in a little bit of a different way: How should the story end? We’re going to go ahead and assume that the two get together at some point moving forward, given that you would likely have revolts by some of the fans if something a little different than this were to take place.

A baby – This is the most obvious possibility, given that Rachel Bilson is pregnant in real life, and this is going to be written into the show. The question here is mostly how a Zoe / Wade baby would work (if the kid is his), and if the child is welcomed during the season. We feel like you would see the kid as a part of the end of the season.

An engagement – Everyone wants to see the two have a happily ever after, right? Well, this is a way to show commitment beyond just a child. It could also make for a really fun story watching Wade trying to find the best way to pop the question.

A wedding – We would be surprised. If there is a baby, an engagement, or both of them, they would probably dominate the air time. There’s no real reason to force a wedding in there, too. Just in case there is another season, why not give something for us to look forward to?

A breakup – This is the darkest timeline. If the writers are very cruel and/or want to bait The CW into another season, they could do this … but we doubt it. We hear that the show planned for its season finale as if it could be the series finale.
