‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ episode 5 preview: The rise of Dandy Mott

Freak Show -Tonight, “American Horror Story: Freak Show” aired an episode that surprisingly focused quite a bit on action that was outside of the big top, and in turn, gave us one of its finest episodes to date.

With that being said, we also have a hard time knowing exactly how this will progress without the scariest person on the scene through four episodes in Twisty the Clown. The character clearly went out with a bang, though, and his story really informs the rise of another in Dandy Mott. This guy is particularly terrifying now, mostly because he is not only coddled by his mother Gloria, but he seems to have no real motivation for killing other than revenge and sadistic desire.

“Pink Cupcakes” is the title for the next update of the show, and it is hard to really know a whole lot of what you can expect from this hour. Instead, why not look at what to expect courtesy of the official synopsis? Take a look:

“Stanley and Maggie hatch a plan to murder the Freaks. Gloria hides the evidence of Dandy’s gruesome new hobby. A health scare reveals Desiree may not be the oddity she once thought.”

The one thing that we feel is certain at this point is that Finn Wittrock is suddenly going to be front and center, and a major threat to all the people at Elsa Mars’ freak show. We hope now that Dandy does make it through the majority of the season; we don’t want a big bad to just disintegrate, or make way for another.
