‘The X Factor’ UK notes: Jack Walton, Mel B, and Andrea Faustini

This weekend, “The X Factor” UK will air another all-new episode, where we’ll get a chance to really figure out who is in the competition for the long haul … though it may not be Jack Walton.

There is a general consensus that he may be one of the next people to go, with lackluster performances coupled with a bizarrely-tense relationship with Mel B. We had a hard time figuring out what was going on after the critique in the last episode; maybe the two were having some disagreements, or maybe the two were engaged in some heated debates with production, who are guilty of not giving them what they wanted.

Still, we don’t know exactly what is going to go down this weekend, but we think that Jack will be okay. We’d wager that we could lose Stevi Ritchie this time, or maybe even someone like Lola Saunders or Only the Young. for some reason, the boys always last longer than you’d think.

Andrea’s reward – We just find this fun: Reports that Andrea Faustini celebrated being safe by going to the local McDonald’s and ordering 20 chicken nuggets. If this is true, Andrea is our kind of party animal. Not that we recommend eating this many chicken nuggets in one sitting, but this does make him a little bit easier to relate to.

Right now, Andrea is still our pick to win the competition, but we’d appreciate it if he does get a chance to perform a few things on the show that are not just in the category of big ballads.
