‘Elementary’ season 3 premiere spoilers: Kitty Winter, Watson, and Sherlock drama
Are you ready to see Sherlock Holmes in action once again? Then odds are, you are definitely going to be looking forward to Thursday night’s season 3 premiere of “Elementary.”
In this premiere episode, one of the most interesting parts of the story is going to be getting an opportunity to meet Kitty Winter, a woman who is going to be very important to the direction of the story in the early going. She is the new protegee of Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) who has come with him from London back to New York City, and she will be working to assist him to a certain degree?
With that being said, it’s fair to say that there will be some tension between her and Watson? As a matter of fact, she even comments in the sneak peek below that she had to see the “original model” (in Joan Watson) in order to figure out who Sherlock had working with him in the past. This move does not please him, and that is one of the biggest understatements ever.
First of all, there is no replacement for Joan! Also, there is a certain element of awkwardness that comes from watching this sneak peek, mostly because it feels like Kitty is the Clara Oswald of this world, minus the Impossible Girl part of it and all the mystery that makes her interesting. We’re not entirely sure about the character yet, mostly because we prefer characters who really challenge Sherlock and make him think about his decisions.
