‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 5 preview: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and 200th episode ‘Fan Fiction’

Supernatural -In two weeks, “Supernatural” isn’t just going to be back with all-new episodes, but they will in particular be airing one of the most critical episodes of the entire series so far from a fun perspective: “Fan Fiction.” The title is fun, and the fact that this is the 200th episode of the show really only serves as icing on the cake.

The first thing that we should note here has to do with scheduling. Due to the midterm elections next week, you’re not going to be seeing either this show or its CW buddy “The Flash” on the air. You’re going to be waiting for a little while to see what happens, but based on what we know right now, we definitely feel like this is going to be worth it and then some.

In order to get some further news related to what you can expect, just take a look at the official synopsis courtesy of The CW:

“When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the disappearance of a teacher, they are stunned to see the school is putting on a musical based on their lives. Familiar faces abound in this milestone episode. Phil Sgriccia directed this episode written by Robbie Thompson.”

Thompson is a beloved member of the #SPNFamily, and we feel like the story is in good hands here. Also, it’s worth noting here that this episode will most-likely not feature either Misha Collins or Mark Sheppard directly, and will be focused mostly on the brothers. Given how things started off here, we’re not too upset about that for this one episode.
