‘Blue Bloods’ season 5 spoilers: ‘CBS This Morning’ anchor to guest-star

CBS LogoJust like “Law & Order: SVU,” the folks over at “Blue Bloods” are doing just about everything that they can in order to make their entire universe real. Sometimes, this means getting some particularly high-profile guest stars who also just so happen to be a part of the real world.

With that in mind, it should be no surprise that “CBS This Morning” anchor Nora O’Donnell is going to guest-star in an episode entitled “Shoot the Messenger” that is going to be putting Tom Selleck’s character of Frank to the test. Want to see more of what you can expect right now? Then just take a look at the full synopsis below:

“Frank is blindsided during an on-air interview when he and the interim District Attorney disagree over an issue. Meanwhile, Danny’s new boss rides along with him, but their methods and personalities clash as they investigate a drive-by shooting.”

At this point, we would really hope that Frank would be used to dealing with this sort of stuff, largely because it has been a personal calling card of his for quite a long time. Let’s just hope that this does measure up to some recent episodes of the show; while the cases of the week are not always that interesting, we are consistently intrigued by everything that is going on in Frank’s world. It is something that is new and original to this show.

Is there anything in particular that you want to see on “Blue Bloods” when it airs on CBS next week? Share your thoughts right now with a comment.
