‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 4 preview: Nyssa brings the truth about Malcolm Merlyn

Did Malcolm Merlyn kill Sara Lance? The evidence against him may be mounting, based on the latest sneak-peek below for Wednesday night’s new “Arrow” episode entitled “The Magician.”

In this particular video, what you can see is Nyssa al Ghul discussing somewhat at length what she and the entire League of Assassins have been doing to track down John Barrowman’s character since learning from Moira Queen that he was alive, and that includes following him to Starling City. Sara apparently was the one following him here, which was why she was back in town in the first place. Her being killed? Well, you could say that maybe Malcolm found out she was there.

The one part of this story that we have a very hard time believing is that supposedly, wasn’t Malcolm down at Corto Maltese with Thea, training her in the arts of kicking butt and taking names? Unless she traveled with him everywhere, he wouldn’t be a very good trainer if he was just leaving her back in South America while he went about his business. This doesn’t quite add up!

Also, we still have Ra’s al Ghul at the top of our list of most-likely Sara Lance murderer suspects. We just don’t see the motivation for Malcolm to kill Sara here, given that he would know it would only buy him a tiny amount of time before someone else from the League was sent. Also, the way in which Sara was killed is too obviously a Malcolm kill. It smells like a set-up.
