‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4: How to support Rachel Bilson, Scott Porter, more for People’s Choice

Zoe -While there is no sure-fire way to ensure that “Hart of Dixie” lasts beyond a fourth season (unless of course you have millions of dollars and are willing to send a check to The CW), there are little things that you can do to help get the word out that this is a show that people should be checking out.

One of those such things is working to support the show and some of its stars at the 2015 People’s Choice Awards. The initial ballots are already online right now, and you can vote over here. The show is nominated for Favorite Network TV Drama, while Rachel Bilson and Scott Porter are nominated for Drama Actress and Actor, respectively.

There is a bit of fun for us that comes when you talk about genre separation. For example, Bilson submitted for the Emmys in the comedy field, while the show is a drama here. It’s one of those few that really does work as either one, and this isn’t a “Shameless” situation all over again. (Pun intended there.)

There are some other categories around in there that you can probably write in another actor or two from the show, if you choose. We’re just pointed out the names that are actually on there in button form for you.

One other way you can clearly help the show is as simple as recommending it to folks who have Netflix. This is something that helped “Breaking Bad” and a few other shows find an audience over time, and there may be plenty of people out there who enjoy the adventures in BlueBell who simply don’t watch The CW regularly.

For those who haven’t heard, Porter recently confirmed that “Hart of Dixie” has not been officially canceled, but many cast members are preparing for that possibility.
