ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: Is Cyrus in trouble?

The great thing about having Cyrus at your disposal if you are President Grant on “Scandal” is simple: This is a guy who is probably going to do everything in his power to ensure you get what you want. Sometimes, it really does not even matter if whatever you want is to his own personal detriment; the man will still somehow try to figure out a way to make it happen.

Unfortunately, when you swing high, your chances for failure are something that you also have to prepare for. This leads us to “The Last Supper,” which is the curiously-titled name for the eighth episode of this season. There are a number of possible meanings for this, including that either someone is getting set to leave their post, or maybe someone is actually going to die. Based on where he is right now, you have to be worried for Jake the most!

Anyhow, the short synopsis unveiled this weekend by SpoilerTV mostly suggests that there are going to be some enormous problems coming up for Jeff Perry’s character, and he really is going to have to figure out a way to deal with them:

“When Cyrus’ exploits catch up with him, Elizabeth’s plan turns out to be bigger than anticipated.”

Are we confident that he will still find a way to emerge on the other side? Sure, but mostly due to the fact that this man has proven himself to be a survivor time and time again. Even when dealing with some of the most unpleasant of situations, he finds a way to figure it out and press onward.
