‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: Surprises in big Ian Somerhalder episode

Thursday night’s new episode “The Vampire Diaries” contains quite a few reasons to celebrate, and it goes far beyond answers to where Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) are and what they need to do to get back.

Are you down for some surprising returns to the show? Well, TV Guide claims that there are two surprise characters turning up in the episode Thursday beyond the ones that you expect, and it is definitely fair to say that we are already curious about who these characters could possibly be.

Also, for fun, we know that there is going to be a younger version of Liz Forbes roaming around, and Damon will even hit on her! (No surprise there.) This story will take us back to the nineties, an era that many “Vampire Diaries” viewers remember and grew up in. It was that strange era right before internet use was everywhere, and they can remember the first time things really started to change entirely.

Even though you may get some substantial answers when it comes to many mysteries on the show this coming episode, that doesn’t mean that Damon and Bonnie are necessarily going to be back around Mystic Falls again with the other exiled supernatural people from the town. They may still have a little bit of work to do in order to make it all the way back. Stay tuned, since we’ll have more on this subject and so much more very soon.
