‘Sherlock’ season 4: Benedict Cumberbatch officially immortalized in wax
Just in case your dream has been to stand a few feet away from a fake version of Benedict Cumberbatch, that same dream may finally be coming true right now.
As you may have heard a certain amount of time ago, the “Sherlock” star was in the process of having himself immortalized in wax at the famous Madame Tussauds in London. Well, that project has come to fruition.
One thing that you should know here, though, is that if you shell out some of the money to see Cumberbatch’s figure, you’re not seeing him as Holmes. Instead, the wax figure is of the actor himself, which we’re sure that plenty out there probably have zero problem with at all.
There are more achievements beyond just “Sherlock” that the actor is known for at this point, with numerous achievements both on stage and in film being among them. Still, you can argue that the BBC series is what put him on the map, especially with many Americans who had not heard about him previously.
Hopefully, we will have a chance to see a Cumberbatch figure at another location of the museum in the near future, given that Madame Tussauds has a reach that really expands almost all over the world. Given his notoriety, though, it only makes some sense that he would start things off in London before a museum would decided to head elsewhere for the rest of his travels (if they decide that at all).
