‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: ‘Facts of Life’ alum to help with Sweets, Daisy’s baby

While Sweets may tragically be gone from “Bones” for good, we are going to see the character still stick around in another way in the form of his child with Daisy. This kid will arrive at some point in the future, and we know now who will in part be responsible for helping to deliver it.

According to TVLine, former “The Facts of Life” star Mindy Cohn is going to guest-star in an upcoming December episode as Valentina, a very new-age delivery special who is into crystals, spiritual energy, and other methods to help ensure that the delivery of the child is as peaceful as possible. The character sounds a little out-there, but that may be good news for those of who hoping that the child being welcomed into the world is something that is a lighthearted affair for the show.

For the next several episodes, we do expect “Bones” to sort of settle in more to some of its roots, which is focusing on some of the fun cases, while showing some further development in the Booth / Brennan relationship. Without Sweets around, there is a slight transition that will need to be made, but we cannot see the show opting to give you one somber reminder after another that the character is gone now. Networks and producers ultimately know why someone is watching a show like “Bones,” and feeling depressed when it is over is not anywhere on the menu.

There is another new episode airing on Fox come Thursday night, and we should have a little bit more coverage when it comes to that particular subject soon.
