‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ preview: Jeremy vs. Keith, Drew vs. himself (video)

Jeremy -Sooner or later, we are going to see Hunahpu go to tribal council on “Survivor: San Juan del Sur,” and when they do, it looks like things are going to be tremendously entertaining based on the video at the bottom of this article.

The first problem this tribe has is that Drew Christy is a complete madman of a strategist. Apparently, he thinks that being the Adonis of Nicaragua is enough to get him far into the game, when in reality everyone is laughing at him. He’s like that delusional “American Idol” singer who goes into auditions thinking they will be the second coming of Elvis. Most of the women are instead laughing at him. (Plus, Kelley Wentworth actually says something!)

Meanwhile, Jeremy Collins and Keith Nale actually get into some sort of trust battle that comes over who has an idol, and secrets that are getting spread around camp. Here’s the problem: This fight was probably started by Jeremy’s wife Val, who made the decision to not share the idol clue with him. While she justified it well in a recent interview we did with her, we also feel a little like giving him that information then may have put him and Keith in a better spot now … maybe. Who knows? Maybe Keith would have stayed this crazy regardless. Either way, so much for the firefighters actually having a bond because of their jobs. Tony and Sarah this is not.

Meanwhile, the Coyopa part of the preview showcases Dale Wentworth struggling to keep his head above water. He’s the odd man out of the group socially, and he’s also the worst competitor physically. Since we know already who will be in the duel Wednesday, he’s not going to get a chance to get an idol clue, if John Rocker’s is even re-hidden. He better win, or face the consequences at this point.
