ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 3 preview: The latest Victoria – David drama

Are you ready to get a little more “Revenge“? Well, hopefully the new episode entitled “Ashes” airing on Sunday will meet your expectations and then some.

For the characters of Victoria Grayson and David Clarke, though, hiding away is the name of the game. She has him hiding away in some super-creepy shack, and there are so many different reasons for that. First and foremost, she does not want him to run into Emily Thorne at any point in the future. She knows that if that happens, odds are that he could actually start to put some of the pieces together.

In the new video sneak peek via Entertainment Weekly, you can get a little bit of idea of what we are talking about here. She supposedly wants to start a life with David, and this includes the two parties finding a home for themselves. He asks about Emily, but Victoria tells him to stay back. If she runs into her, she can find a way to take care of her all her own.

The one problem we have with this is the same problem that we have more or less had ever since David turned back up: Why is this guy so clueless? For someone who was gone for decades, we would have thought this time would have made him wise, paranoid, and capable of avoiding the same pratfalls. This is why we are hoping that all of this Victoria stuff is some sort of ruse, since otherwise, they’ve made David out to be pretty dumb.
