‘Watch What Happens Live’: Teresa Giudice reacts to prison sentence
Tonight, Bravo is probably going for big ratings for their latest episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” given that this is the first major TV interview for Teresa Giudice since being sentenced to 15 months in prison. As Andy Cohen says in the video below, there were some who suspected that the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star would not serve any actual time in prison at all. Some thought house arrest.
Teresa tells Andy in tonight’s special just what she was going through when she heard the news in its entirety:
“I was so nervous yesterday that I was shaking … My nerves were pulling. At one point I couldn’t even move my fingers. They were stuck. My nerves were shot. I’ve had sleepless nights. Of course, I was shocked. Like, I was like, you know, it was very unexpected. I don’t even know what to say.”
Teresa also said that she needs to read things before signing them, to start being a little less trustworthy, and ultimately more responsible. This is a very somber interview, and very different than most others that Andy has done.
As for the rumors that Giudice was paid for this interview, we’re sure that she was. After all, why subject yourself to these sort of questions for free. It doesn’t really matter how much she was paid, since it’s clear that she needs the money even beyond what the judge is making her pay as a result of the case. We know there’s the fame part of it too, but still.
