‘Person of Interest’ season 4, episode 3 preview: Reese on the ‘job’

On Tuesday night’s new “Person of Interest” episode, one thing seems to be particularly clear when it comes to Reese: Even though he may have a new job (or at least a cover), he is not doing a very good job staying out of the public eye.

In the sneak peek below, you can see the character taking on a new target, and what happens here is ultimately a pretty impressive chase sequence. Reese goes after him on a street, eventually boards a tour bus, and then kills him. He clearly has not lost his skills when it comes to targeting opponents.

Also, allow us to make a little bit of extra commentary here. How insane are some of these people on the bus? Just think about that for a minute. They are all ravenously clapping at a guy who just shot another guy in the middle of a chase. Sure, he may be with the police, but when was the last time you seriously saw someone clapping at a guy getting shot?

There is a funnier part of this episode, hence the title of “Wingman,” that you do not see here. Let’s just say that the world of dating and social situations will play a part here courtesy of the latest target. This is a show that certainly needs a little bit of fun in it from time to time, especially when you consider how serious things have been as of late. The most obvious example of that is what we saw in the season 3 finale.
