‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ preview: Take a look at the next challenge!

Wednesday night, “Survivor” will be back with a new episode, and while we know that some of you may care about strategy more than anything else, we have something to get you a little bit more excited right now: A look at the challenge that will be coming up!

As you would expect, this is going to be a fun, fast-paced one, and like many other pre-merge challenges, there is a certain skill component to it. This time, that particular skill is similar to basketball. You have to run through a course with a partner to find a ball, and then use it to try and score.

The challenge team is clearly excited about this, and we are just as stoked that there is finally something entering the picture this year that is actually new. It’s been a while since we’ve had a challenge of this variety on the show.

As for whether or not this is a challenge that Coyopa (a.k.a. the sadsack orange tribe) has a real shot at winning, we are fairly excited to find out. Where the tribe is struggling is in the field of teamwork, and unless they can figure out how to properly delegate from one tribe to the next, they could have a little bit of trouble with this.

If they do lose, though, they have to face the reality of possibly going back to tribal council again, and losing someone else on a group that has already been diminished. We have a feeling that they really do not want that.
