‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’: First look at joe, Teresa Giudice interview

This is almost an awkward weekend when it comes to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” On Sunday night, there is going to be a new episode airing on Bravo, but at the same time, this is not exactly going to be an episode that is stuffed full of new or surprising information.

What we imagine more out there being a little bit interested in is the sit-down special that is going to be coming after the fact Monday night, given that this will feature Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe speaking about the sentencing for the first time since it was announced that the two would be respectively sentenced to 15 and 41 months in prison.

We imagine that this special in itself may be responded to with a little bit of negativity, if for no other reason than that Teresa said before being sentenced that she no longer cares about reality TV. If this is the case, why sign up to do an interview like this in the first place? The obvious answer to this seems to be pretty simple: Her perspective, and maybe even money if Bravo is paying them for the appearance. We don’t blame them for wanting to have their voice heard, but the problem they are probably going to run into regardless is that there are going to be many who simply choose not to believe them.
