Who’s ready for some more “Hart of Dixie” season 4 casting news? We’ve got some further scoop about who will be appearing on the upcoming finale, and it is someone who Rachel Bilson knows very well already.
As confirmed on her own Twitter (see below), Autumn Reeser has confirmed that there will be a mini-reunion for “The OC” on the show. Bilson and Reeser appeared together on more than 30 episodes of the once-legendary Fox show, which also starred such other TV stars as Ben McKenzie (“Gotham”) and Tate Donovan.
There is no word at the moment on who Reeser will play on the series, but there are plenty of different possibilities for her. She could be someone’s family member, a new visitor to Bluebell, or someone who could come in and stir up all sorts of trouble.
The one thing that we do know is that this is not necessarily the final season of “Hart of Dixie,” even if the show only has a ten-episode order that will not premiere until 2015. The only reason that the series is finishing filming already is due to Bilson’s pregnancy. This will be written into the show, but the series still needed to be through filming before she was close to giving birth. While they wrote out Lemon for a little while during the third season after Jaime King gave birth, it was a little bit easier to do so when her name isn’t in the title of the show. This is a different situation.
