For the new season of “Once Upon a Time,” we are getting more and more familiar faces checking in. First, it was Georgina Haig, and she has since been followed by Elizabeth Mitchell of “Lost,” and now Sally Pressman of “Army Wives” fame.
While we just learned for certain that Mitchell will be the villain of the season, the jury is still out on Pressman. She confirmed her casting online, and is already in Vancouver filming at least one episode of the ABC show.
It is difficult right now logistically to figure out just who Pressman could be. Since Mitchell is playing a villain, it is unlikely that she will be. Meanwhile, she seems too young to play Anna and Elsa’s mother, unless she is going to be a part of flashbacks and given a thorough makeup job in the present day. Maybe she is another fairy-tale character we will meet this coming season? While “Frozen” does seem to be the flavor of the week right now, we wouldn’t put it past the writers to still dip into other characters and mythologies for a few roles here and there.
The new season of “Once Upon a Time” is going to premiere on ABC come Sunday, September 28, so you better be prepared to see very soon just what is going to happen in this new, exciting, and possibly even crazy world. We will have some further updates all about the show every step of the way moving up to the big premiere. We also assume that we are not doing with major castings for the series just yet.
