TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 3 finale spoilers: Another preview tackles ‘who will die?’ question
Regardless of whether or not you are talking about the original version of “Dallas” or the new adaptation on TNT, one thing remains the same: This series has always had death as one of its central themes. “Who shot JR?” was one of the biggest questions in the history of television, and the actual death of the character during season 2 (following the passing of the great Larry Hagman) remains one of the hardest parts of the show to handle.
Going into Monday’s season 3 finale, the real push for the series seems to be that there are many members of the Ewing family who are candidates to die before the end, but one of them will for sure. Is there really one that is more of a candidate than the other? It all depends on what you look for.
Take, for example, John Ross. It would make sense that this would be a guy who many out there would want dead, but he almost has a cockroach quality to him in that we have a hard time ever envisioning him going anywhere.
Meanwhile, we are more worried for people like Pamela and Ann Ewing. For some reason, we feel like it could be a female character to go this time around, but in the end, it may not matter who. Given the unlikelihood of the show returning for another season right now given the ratings, there may be a certain logic for the show just going for the jugular, and killing off who could be arguably some of the most-important characters.
What do you think is going to be coming up with the “Dallas” finale? Let us know some of your thoughts right now with a comment!

The most likely and logical pick to die is Emma. As we ended last week, we see Harris and his mother both showing kindness to Bobby and needing his help to save Emma. With Cliff out of the picture, the show NEEDS a central villain. IF Bobby is able to save both Ann and Emma, then the Rylands owe him big time and it would seem foolish that they continue the feud. However, If Bobby fails to save Emma, that could turn them into full fledged foes of the Ewings for Season 4. Also, the show cant kill John Ross or Christopher— they are the focus of the show. It would be foolish to kill Bobby or Sue Ellen as they are the main reason that many fans of the original still watch without JR around. Killing Pamela makes no sense, unless it somehow leads to a return of a more vengeful Cliff Barnes. And killing Ann just seems pointless. However, if Emma makes it out, then I am sure that Ann doesn’t. UNLESS, maybe the writes plan to not be renewed and then perhaps Bobby does die in a heroic effort to save both Emma and Ann, and let his death serve as an example of “family” to the younger Ewings left behind…..

I really hope we get a Season 4 … it’s a great show. My guess is Christopher.

They will bring back Ray Krebbs Ewing just to kill him off.
Who else would Bobby turn to in the old days for help?
